Self Catering Brighton and the Food and Drink Festival

This coming September marks the welcome beginnings of the Brighton and Hove Food and Drink Festival. The event aims to display the wealth of top quality produce on offerin Sussex and as such has become a great favourite for visitors as well as a welcomeopportunity for local producers to their wares!In 2008 over 50,000 people enjoyed the vast array of displays, stalls and opportunities to sample - seeing just what our local counties can produce. This year an even greater number of people are expected -attracted to the excellent reports of previous festivals - but also someiinovative and exciting new conceptsfor 2009. in addition to displaying local produce covering fruit, vegetables, meat, cheeses, wines, etc etc for 2009 they are also introducing the idea of ‘Open House Dining’ - an event where people host tv style ‘Come Dine With Me’ events in their own home.
